An artist at heart, Eduan Joubert’s art journey started when he was young. His talents sprouted early when a painting of his was put in his school’s records at 7 years old, he also went on to win a colouring competition hosted by Toyota at the age of 13.

But he only truly picked up the brush much later in his life. Starting to paint again in 2010 after a long break, his eyes were finally opened to the world of art. He then went on to have his first formal painting classes in 2012, where his passion truly blossomed.

Today he manages his own gallery and venue, The Roodeplaat Art Gallery. Simultaneously his art journey continues, with his unique and spontaneous style bending and breaking all the rules, not allowing himself to be restricted to one category. A quality born from his art mantra, “Variety is the spice of art”.
